Sweet Steak Dianne
Ingredients
- 4 Rib eye steak
- 40 gr Roast Garlic BBQ Rub
- 2-3 knobs butter
Instructions
- Rub steak with ‘Roast Garlic BBQ Rub - Sweet Dianne’ and then brush off excess to suit your taste.
- Allow steak to sit and come to room temperature, this will allow the rub to absorb the juices and create a better finish.
- Heat a pan to hot and add a knob of butter, The butter will mix with the Roast Garlic BBQ Rub to create an amazing flavour.
- When butter is frothing place steak into pan.
- Using a one turn pan method (2cm thick steak)
- Place steak in hot pan and leave to cook on one side then turn and cook on the other side using the times below for the desired finish.
- RARE : 2 minutes each side, 2 minutes rest
- MEDIUM : 4 minutes each side, 4 minutes rest
- WELL DONE : 5-6 minutes each side, 5 minutes rest
- *If you steak is thinner, decrease the time, if it is thicker, increase the time. Finish with a small knob of salted butter when serving for extra richness and flavour.
