How to pan fry a Chicken Breast

Chicken lovers, here is the secret to cooking a perfect chicken breast time and time again. Spiced or Salted this recipe will make sure your breasts are cooked through, tender and juicy.

Tasty Pan Fried Chicken Breast


  • 1 Chicken Breast
  • 1 tbsp Harveys Kitchen BBQ Rub
  • 1 splash olive oil Vegetable oil if desired
  • 1/4 cup stock or water


  • Coat chicken breast in Harveys Kitchen BBQ Rub and shake off excess
  • Heat pan to medium hot with teaspoon of olive oil
  • Place chicken breast skin side down in pan and cook for 1 minute, turn over and cook for another minute.
  • Add 1/4 cup of water or stock to pan and put on pan lid, turn heat to low. Cook for 10 minutes. Then remove from heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes
  • You will have a perfect chicken breast ready to slice or serve
